Chris Tiesler, Phill Worth and Gary Katsion of Kittelson & Associates, Inc. and Terry Schoenthal of Land Design North are leading a study to improve pedestrian and vehicle traffic in Eagle River, Alaska. The Eagle River Downtown Circulation Study is one example of a small community’s desire to create a lively and welcoming downtown experience. It is no longer a big city ballgame when it comes to planning for downtown cores that promote quality of life and economic strength, and many small communities are experiencing a growth rate that demands attention.

There’s still more work to be done, but they’re on a good path to achieving the community’s goals. Click through to the article to learn more.
